Meeting with Maverick and People's Party Candidates

Yesterday, ahead of the Estevan Chamber of Commerce's All Candidates forum, members of the UMWA 7606 met with Dr. Greg Douglas of the Maverick Party and Diane Neufeld of the People's Party of Canada at the UMMWA 7606 / IBEW 2067's Coal Transition Centre in Estevan to discuss coal, labour, energy, carbon tax and other issues. The NDP candidate declined the invitation to meet with our coal miners, while the Liberal party candidate did not respond to our invitation.
