Inspect and test operation of plant instruments and control systems to diagnose faults; • Repair and adjust system components such as sensors, transmitters, pneumatic and electric actuated valves, and programmable logic controllers; • Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications; • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports; • Install control and measurement instruments on existing and new plant equipment and processes; and • Consult with and advise electricians, plant operators, and plant staff on instrumentation and control systems.
Journeyman status in the Instrumentation and Control Technician trade
Interprovincial Red Seal required
Valid Saskatchewan Electrical License
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Industrial Maintenance role
Experience working and executing maintenance in a mining environment preferred
