Fuel for Thought
The Sask Coal Transition Centre took part in the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce's "Fuel for Thought" webinar with former provincial energy minister and current CEO of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, Tim McMillan.

When asked by the Sask Coal Transition Centre about expanding CCUS on coal for enhanced oil recovery, it was the former minister of energy's opinion that in regards to expanding carbon capture on Boundary Dam, Poplar River and Shand power stations that "economics are a challenge" and additional coal units with CCUS would "require further federal government commitments to make it feasible."
